Cat Corral: Special Needs & Medical Attention
Cats with Special Needs
Miss Kitty’s is known for providing loving care to pets who need extra time and attention. We are happy to accommodate a cat with special needs due to old age, health, injury or illness. Our nannies are trained to give insulin injections medications, and other nursing care. Our tremendous one on one time allows our pet nannies to get to know your pet well and note changes in eating habits, mood or expression. Simply let us know what accommodations are needed for your special needs feline and we will make the necessary adjustments.
It is always our first choice to contact your veterinarian when your pet is in our care. Depending on the time and the nature of the concern, Miss Kitty’s management retains the right to contact a veterinarian of their choice for the well being of your pet. We will use every available contact to reach you and keep you abreast of any situation.
In the unusual case that your feline must make a trip to the veterinarian, a $25 trip charge will be added to your bill to cover our transportation and staff expenses.
For the safety of all cats, we require certification from your veterinarian that every guest be up to date on their vaccinations. Kittens must be up to date for their current age, and if they have not completed the series a certification from their veterinarian that they are clear to board is required.
